Catherine (1887-1967) was a daughter of Duncan Young and Mary Graham of 8 Ballantrushal.
Catherine married Finlay MacRitchie of 46 Lower Barvas; they settled at 2 Park Barvas. Catherine and Finlay had a daughter; Catherine was widowed when Finlay was killed in the Battle of Jutland in 1916. She subsequently married John Mackay of 17 Arnol, with whom she had a son.
Finlay’s Royal Naval Reserve record notes Catherine as living at 80 Greenfield Street, Govan, Glasgow.
