16717: Mobile Pulpit
Mobile pulpit used for open air preaching in Pairc. Found at Pairc Free Church, Gravir, where it had been put into storage in 1882. The pulpit is made of pine with tongue and groove panelling, iron hinges, painted light brown on the exterior, unpainted internally, stable door entrance. Later additions to the rear and side roof. Incised with letter T and numbers 11, V, X.
