16547: Hattersley Loom
Cast iron Hattersley Loom used for the weaving of Harris Tweed. The first loom of its type in the Pairc community in 1947 retired from use in 1999. Blue plastic tube attached to the front of the loom which would have been used for storing scissors. Wooden frame with teeth for feeding yarn through.
