Nickel-plated lace hook, 129mm long. Handle (loop) marked on one side "THEY DOUBLE THE LIFE OF THE BOOTS", the other side marked "THE WOOD-MILNE" and "RUBBER HEEL PADS". Museum No."48" stamped on it.
