18737: Rhenigidale, Harris
The small village of Rhenigidale was only accessible on foot or by sea until 1990, when a new access road was built from the main Stornoway-Tarbert road.
In the village is one of the Gatliff Trust hostels, and a popular approach is still via the high footpath around Loch Trollamarig from Tarbert, five miles distant.
