109115: Old Glen Tolsta, Lewis

The original tenants of Glen Tolsta were boundary shepherds who managed flocks between the farms of Gress and Tolsta. In 1842 all the tenants were relocated to Old South Tolsta, and new crofts were created at Glen Tolsta the following year.

On this website the pre-1842 settlement is referred to as Old Glen Tolsta.
