40717: Wells on Vuia Mhor
Near the settlement on Vuia Mhor there are two wells, both consisting of stone chambers below (current) ground level.
The first is located to the west of the blackhouse ruins and in August 2006 was full and clear, with the stone lining in good condition.
The other is behind the settlement, to the south, quite near the walls. The stone work is partially intact and shows several courses of drystone, but was dry and one side had fallen in.
