A number of ruinous shielings on the north edge of Loch Resort. There is a small patch of arable land attached.

Five unroofed shieling-huts, which are annotated as Ruins, and an enclosure are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1854, sheet 34) and on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973).

‘The monument…comprises the remains of a group of shieling huts used as a base for seasonal pasturing of livestock. The area to be scheduled is circular, 70m in diameter, to include the shielings and an area between and around in which further associated remains may survive.’
