This is an 8m length of midden, c. 0.1m deep, extending along the erosion face of a steep rocky part of the shore on the east of Cnip headland. It comprises a mid to dark brown stained sand with charcoal flecks. it underlies sterile windblown sand and overlies decayed gneiss.
