TRAIGH NA BERIE - SETTLEMENT? (Undated)

Summary:

SETTLEMENT? (Undated)
Possible settlement

Location:

NB 1059 3536

Full description:

no.21
This is a relatively small, hollos-topped mound over which the road through the Traigh na Beirie runs. Stones are visible eroding from the sides. It is possible that this is a small settlement mound, although the identification is insecure doe to the position of the modern road. It is porbably the least secure of the settlement mound identifications in the area.
