A crofting township comprising fifteen roofed buildings, six partially roofed buildings, five of which are annotated as ruins, and ten unroofed buildings, nine of which are annotated as Ruins, is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1854, sheet 23). Thirteen roofed, three partially roofed and ten unroofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
