A township comprising two unroofed buildings, one of which is annotated as a Ruin and the other lies adjacent to a burn and may be a mill, one partially roofed building, six roofed buildings, one of which is annotated as a Corn Mill (NB12NW 2.02), and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1854, sheet 24). Eleven unroofed, three partially roofed, three roofed buildings and part of the head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
