Full description:
"Situated on the south side of the summit to the west of Creag Mhor, in the centre of Eilean Chalium Cille, the remains of this rectilinear structure measure 6 x 4 metres and are orientated from south-west to north-east. Constructed of stone faces with earthen cores the walls of this building stand no more than 0.5 metres tall and on the eastern side are obscured by tumbled stone. A possilbe entrance may be seen at the eastern end of the north wall. The size and location of this structure suggest that it is a large pre-crofting or crofting phase sheiling. The construction, however, may point to something more permanent, possibly the remains of a pre-crofting blackhouse." (Burgess 2004, 79)
