A township comprising twenty-five roofed buildings, which include a corn mill (NB 3330 1960) and a smithy (NB 3246 1977), two partially roofed buildings, one of which is annotated as a Ruin, twenty-seven unroofed buildings, eight of which are annotated as Ruins, and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1854, sheet 37). Fifty-four roofed, three partially roofed and thirty-four unroofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
