Full description:

"Situated on the north shore of Loch Seaforth Head, this dyke runs for 50 metres from north to south across the shore and beach. Constructed entirely of stone it is up to 2 metres wide and stands up to 1.5 metres high. More than half its length lies below the high water mark and an unknown length is also submerged at low tide. This structure appears to be a land boundary, possibly marking the eastern end of the crofts at this point on the shore of Loch Seaforth Head. It is possible that this structure also performed the function of a pier." (Burgess 2004, 61-62)
