A township comprising three roofed buildings, two unroofed buildings, which are annotated as Ruins, six enclosures and what may be two phases of head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1854, sheet 24). The township shares a head-dyke with the farmstead of Aird Earshader (NB13SE 32).
A modern crofting township comprising one unroofed and seven roofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
