89638: Brenish School
Brenish School in ruins, with Mealisval behind. In this schoolhouse, 46 men of the district met on Christmas Day, 1908 to agree resolutions demanding the breaking up of Carnish and Mangersta farms to provide land for cottars and squatters. (Joni Buchanan, The Lewis Land Struggle)
