88981: Cairn on top of the Clisham, Harris

This Ordnance Survey cairn was erected by the Air Ministry at the top of the Clisham in the early 1950s. Material for the cairn was transported from the roadside by horseback, pannier style, in small bags. Colin Maciver, Soval walked the horse to the top of the Clisham and the contract took about two weeks to complete
