107501: Cuairt Cuain

The hymn Cuairt Cuain was composed by John Morison (Gobha na Hearadh) after his 1851 tour of the central belt of Scotland on the Free Church ship Breadalbane, when he aimed to secure funds to build and complete Manish Free Church in Harris without outstanding debts. The warmth and generosity with which he was received throughout his tour are the subjects of the hymn.
