The first tenant of this croft was Norman Matheson (1812-1885) from 23 Old Gravir. 39 Gravir was passed to his son, Donald Matheson (1856-1934) and he passed the croft to his bachelor son, Malcolm(1900-1987).
John Murdo Macinnes (1932-2001) of Laxdale and formerly of 8 Gravir was the next tenant.
Malcolm Matheson (1860-1952) Calum Thormoid Dhòmhnaill was a Cottar at 39 Gravir.
