The first tenant of this croft was John Mackay (1810-1883) who came from 7 Old Eishken. 24 Gravir was  then passed to his son-in-law Donald Macleod (1855-1903), from 3 Garyvard. He passed it to his son-in-law John Kennedy (1881-1971) from 15 Marvig. John passed the croft to his son Donald Kennedy (born 1905) who lived in Glasgow.

Catherine Kennedy (1913-1966)  and her husband, Alexander Montgomery (1909-1978) were Cottars at the croft and later moved to Kyle of Lochalsh
