7669: 11a Keose

The first tenant of 11a Keose was John Macdonald (1854-1945), son of Donald Macdonald and Margaret Macritchie, 11 Keose. His daughter Annabella lived on the croft with her husband John Morrison and family. After her death in 1936, the family moved to 5 Luerbost, Lochs.

John’s daughter Margaret died in 1976. The croft was left to her niece, Donaldina (Dollag an Mhallaig). She sold the croft to John Murdo Kennedy, 10 Orinsay.
