76055: 10 Backhill

This was the home of fisherman and yachtsman Neil MacLeod and his family from about 1931. Following his widow Catherine’s death in 1978, it passed to son Donald B MacLeod.

The property is referred to as ‘house no 35’ in Bill Lawson’s croft history of the area.
