67399: 22 Borve (Sandpoint), Berneray

22 Borve was created in 1900, when the Congested Districts Board for Scotland persuaded the South Harris Estate to break up Borve Farm and re-allocate the land as crofts. 

Croft 22 was allotted to William MacMillan. Following his death the tenancy passed to his son Alexander, who later moved away from the island. The tenancy was then given to Norman MacAskill, who lived at Sunhill.
