67375: 20 Ruisgarry (Brusda)
The croft at 20 Ruisgarry was created in the 1850 relotting of Ruisgarry by the Harris Estate. It is one of five crofts in an area known as Brùsda.
The first tenants of the new croft were Mary Munro (née MacLeod) and her family. Following her death in 1864, the croft passed to her son Lachlan, and then to his nephew John Munro. John’s widowed sister-in-law Margaret, who had been living as a cottar on the croft, became tenant following his death, and the tenancy subsequently passed to her daughter Marion, then to Donald Munro.
