The first tenant of this croft was Donald Mackay (1805-). His son Kenneth (1852-) inherited the croft which was passed to John Angus Mackay (1885), a son of Angus (1849-) who was a cottar. When he died in 1964, his nephew Donald, 26 Crossbost inherited the croft. The croft was later sold.
