The first tenant of this croft was Ann Macdonald, whose family resided in Steimreway. The ruins of Annie's house can still be seen on the croft. The next tenant was Malcolm Macleod (1768-1861) from Pairc, who was at one time a shepherd for Linshader Farm. The croft was passed down through the family.
