57646: 8a Tolsta Chaolais

When John Macarthur died in 1878, 8 Tolsa Chaolais was split between his son Donald (b1830) who settled at 8b Tolsta Chaolais and his daughter-in-law Christina, widow of John (1825-1877), who lived at 8a Tolsta Chaolais.

The croft passed to Christina’s son Malcolm (b1861) and to Malcolm’s son John and was later sold.

Christina’s son Malcolm (1861-1934) inherited the croft which was later sold.
