Alexander Macdonald (1888-1968), 1a Garyvard emigrated to Canada in the 1910s. He was invalided home after the Battle of Vimy Ridge in April 1917 and lived at Park House, Garyvard before moving to 10 Keose Glebe in 1936. His son Donald (1921-1992), married to Donaldina Mackenzie, 4 Keose became the tenant. They had no family.
