3603: 10 Calbost
The croft is located next to the shore of Camas Chalaboist and also touches Loch Dubh. It was created during the second lotting in about 1852 and the first tenant was Angus Finlayson, Aonghas Chaluim Dhol Ruaidh, who had, it seems, been a landless cottar in the village.
Angus (1817-1871) passed the croft to his son, Alexander (1847-1923) who passed it to his son, Roderick (1884-1965). After WW2 Roderick moved to Laxdale and Angus Nicolson (1913-1982) 11 Calbost took over the croft.
