Roderick Nicolson, 4 Old Islivig was the first tenant of 5 Islivig. He exchanged crofts with Malcolm Macaulay, 10 Islivig; passed to Malcolm’s son, Angus, then Angus’s son, Murdo. It then passed to Murdo’s adopted son Brian, who passed it to his cousin, Christina Ann Mackenzie, married to James Hazel, London. After their deaths Catherine, Christina Ann’s daughter assumed tenancy.
