23082: 8 Tolsta Chaolais

This croft was first tenanted by John Macarthur (1796-1878) who was married to Mary Macleod from Borrowston.  When John Macarthur died in 1878, the croft was split between his son Donald (b1830) who settled at 8b Tolsta Chaolais and his daughter-in-law Christina, widow of John (1825-1877), who lived at 8a Tolsta Chaolais.
