21618: 8 Arivruach

Donald Macsween (1780-) from Lochs was the first tenant on this croft. His son Allan (1831-1915) inherited the croft.

Donald Martin (1858-) from 48 Balallan was living in Glasgow before returning to live at 8 Arivruach. He had two sons, John and Allan who had a shop in Stornoway called A&J Martin. The family later moved to Stornoway.
