4 Hacklete
In 1880, when Hacklete was re-settled, Neil Macaulay "Niall Chrothair", his wife and two of his family moved to No 1 (also known as Ballaglom). The daughter Catherine inherited and, as she was unmarried and without family, she took in her nephew John Macaulay and his wife. The tenancy has remained with the Macaulay family since then.
The area that this croft covers is also known as "an Sean Bhaile".
