No.16 Kirkibost is situated on both sides of the road to Rubha Ghlais (No 19), and lies between the sea and Nos. 15 and 17. The first tenant after resettlement was Donald Macdonald "am Bard" from Tobson. The croft came to his daughter who was married away and she sold to the family whose descendants still live there.
