14 Kirkibost is situated between numbers 11 and 15. The first tenants after resettlement were John Macdonald ("Daidh") and Christina Maclean; they had seven children, none of whom married. They took in a cousin, Norman Macdonald, who then inherited the croft which remained in his family.
