The first tenant at 21 Sheshader was John Macaulay (1815-1882) son of John, 13 Sheshader and was passed to his son,  Murdo (1844-1916) and then to his granddaughter Mrs Jessie Mackenzie (1874-).

John Macrae (1861-1908) son of Ivor, 48 Upper Bayble was a cottar on 21 Sheshader.
