1188: 27 Laxay
Donald Macleod (1829-1893) was a squatter, along with his brother Malcolm, in Bekavig, Valtos before being evicted in 1867. Both his sons, Malcolm and John lived on the croft and John’s son John Murdo (1900-1969) inherited the croft.
