The first tenant of 14 Upper Bayble was Norman Macdonald (1793-1857) son of Norman Macdonald, Upper Bayble. The croft passed to son-in-law Murdo Murray (1819-1893) son of Kenneth, 16 Knock, Point. The croft passed to Murdo's son Murdo (1859-) then his grandson, Murdo and great grandson, Alex John Murray.
