1 Àird an Rubha

The first tenant of 1 Aird, Point was Murdo Macleod (1770) and he left Lewis in 1832. There was a Cottar on the croft Donald Macleod (1790-1835) and after his death his family moved to 12 Portvoller.

The croft passed to Alexander Mackenzie (1811-1891), 5 Aird and he passed it to his son, William Mackenzie (1838-1906). The next tenant was William's son Alexander Mackenzie (1876-1919).
