11 Garyvard
11 Garyvard
This croft was created possibly at the time of the second lotting about 1850. It was created from part of Croft No 1, tenanted by John Macleod who was a soldier and who were generally given larger crofts as a reward for their military service
Alexander Macleod (Alasdair Choinnich) was the tenant of 11 Garyvard in the late 1800s; it passed to his son John, then to John's daughter Marjory, and then to her son Donald Angus Montgomery.
