1 Old North Tolsta was a new croft in 1830, the first tenant was Donald Macdonald from Cuilatobhtar.

His sister Catherine and her husband Norman were cottars on the croft, they obtained 24 Old North Tolsta in 1845.

In 1842 Donald obtained 6 Old North Tolsta and 1 Old North Tolsta passed to his brother Murdo.

Murdo obtained 51 North Tolsta in the 1853 croft relottings.
