9 New Tolsta’s was lotted in 1922. It’s first tenants were Torquil Macdonald and his wife Margaret Graham.

The croft was passed onto Torquil’s step sister Christina Macdonald who lived there with her two sons, Murdo and John.

Murdo would have the croft passed onto him from his mother and from him onto his brother John.
