The first tenant of this croft was John Macleod (1817), followed by Robert Montgomery (1860). Roderick Macleod, 28 Cromore took over the tenancy until after the First World War when he sold the croft to Louis Mackenzie, 5 Cromore, who in turn sold it to Alex Smith, 16 Cromore.
