119566: Echo Vale Cemetery

Echo Vale Cemetery (known in French as Cimetière Echo Vale) is located in Marbsboro, Quebec.

As noted on many tombstones, this cemetery contains the graves of settlers from Scotland who emigrated to Canada in the nineteenth century, mainly from the Hebrides, especially the Isle of Lewis. Most of the Scottish settlers were had lived in surrounding areas including Megantic, Sandy Bay, Piopolis, Milan, Marston and Marsboro.
