8972: Brothers

This vessel (which was registered at Stornoway as SY19 in March 1869) belonged to John Smith of 6 Keose who was also its master. It was an 11 ton boat, measuring 34 1/2 feet in length, with two masts and 2 lug sails. Its crew consisted of 5 men and a boy and fished by the use of drift nets.
