51734: Try Again (SY108)

The Try Again, owned by Alexander Mackinnon, 1 Garyvard was 54ft long and had two engines, a Gleniffer and a Kelvin. She had a complement of 5 crew and a cook and had up to six bunks below deck.

This boat started its life in Scalpay, then Garyvard, then to Mull and then Eymouth and lay on a beach there neglected. She was bought by someone from London and she was repaired and used as a shrimp boat in the Thames Estuary. 

There was another Try Again in Calbost.
