49584: Spray (SY517)

The Spray was a steam drifter fishing boat built of wood by Chambers of Lowestoft in 1906 for S J W George, Yarmouth.

Sold to Finlay Smith, 19 Cromore, in 1926. It was used in the First World War as a fishery drifter.

The vessel became a total loss in the North Minch in June 1932.

16 inch compound engine by Elliot and Garood.
