121088: SS/HMS Normannia 112611

The SS Normannia was a Passenger Vessel built by Fairfield Shipbuilding and Engineering Co, Govan, Glasgow in 1911 for the London and South Western Railway. She worked the Southampton to Le Havre route and was requisitioned by the Admiralty  as a Troopship in the First World War.

On May 30, 1940 SS Normannia was bombed  and severely damaged at Dunkirk. The ship was beached and abandoned.
