121082: SS/HMS Rampura 148119

The SS Ranpura was a Passenger/Cargo Steamship built by R & W Hawthorn Leslie and Company, Newcastle Upon Tyne in 1924 for the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Co Ltd. She was requisitioned by the Admiralty and served  in the Second World War as an Armed Merchant Cruiser. HMS Ranpura was sold to the Admiralty in 1943 and converted to a repair ship and served as Fleet Depot Ship until 1961 when she was broken up.
